    Description

In Diana Hendry’s Harvey Angell Beats Time (the second book in the Harvey Angell trilogy), Henry’s life at 131 Ballantyre Road takes another supernatural turn following a massive thunderstorm.

    Plot Synopsis

After a “Great Storm,” Henry returns home from school to find a mysterious baby peculiarly swaddled and hidden among Aunt Agatha’s hollyhocks. The baby, whom they name Sweetheart, is no ordinary child—antennae eventually unfurl from her eyebrows, and she emits a strange bleeping noise. Soon, a host of ghostly, dark women begin to haunt the house, desperate to get a glimpse of the child.Feeling overwhelmed, Henry and his friend Rosie (along with the boarder Mr Perkins) summon the magical electrician, Harvey Angell. Harvey identifies that Sweetheart is actually from the twenty-third century. To save her and return her home before it is too late, Harvey must embark on a “breathtakingly hazardous” journey into the future.

First Edition. Paperback. 156 Pages. Fine Condition.
